Hoca Seyfettin Bridge

Hoca Seyfettin Bridge is found 13km north of Kula Town. It was built on a neck where the valley of the Gediz (Hermos) river was narrowed by the basaltic lava from Kuladivlit Cone.

The bridge was designed and built by Hoca Seyfettin İbni El-Hac Saruhan between 15th and 16th century. The bridge is 50m long and 4m wide, originally used to have 4 arches while two of them were closed during a repaired.
