As October 13 is World Disaster Risk Reduction Day, Kula - Salihli UNESCO Global Geopark Education Officer Mesut KOLBÜKEN gave information about the earthquake to both Kula, Sandal Cumhuriyet Primary School and Salihli Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Social Sciences High School and had them conduct earthquake drills. During the drill, the students acted as if an earthquake was really happening and carried out a realistic drill.
