Adala Volcanic Canyon, also known as “Hermos Canyon”, extends for 5 km between Demirköprü Dam and Adala District of Salihli district. This canyon was formed by the Gediz River eroding the land filled with basaltic lava from the Kaplan Divlit Volcano Cone. Adala Volcanic Canyon is a very popular and suitable area for outdoor sports such as hiking, cycling and recreation.
