Ancient settlements around Kula BC. It dates back to the Lydian Empire in 1200 BC. Ancient rock tombs in Kula are closely linked with World heritage monuments. The diversity of rock tombs is directly related to the diversity of local lithology. Distinctive rock tombs were carved to study limestone lithologies, each of which has a distinctive character.
