The October Board Meeting of the Union of Geopark Municipalities was held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Ehsanlar Mansion, one of the historical and touristic buildings of Kula. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor's Advisor Architect Azmi Açıkdil, Head of Registry and Decisions Department Sibel Alkın, Head of Financial Services Department Serdar Sidar also attended the Board Meeting, which was held with the participation of Kula Mayor Hüseyin Tosun, Salihli Mayor Zeki Kayda and Birlik Board members. At the council meeting where the proposal of the Union of Geopark Municipalities regarding the 2022 fiscal year budget draft was unanimously accepted; Activities planned to be carried out in 2022 for the development of Kula-Salihli UNESCO Global Geopark were also discussed.
