Prehistoric rock paintings known as Kanlıkayalar are located near fossil human footprints. The figures were drawn on the inner surface of a erected schist rock block using red paint. Three hand shapes that catch the eye at first sight are found elsewhere in the Prehistoric past of western Anatolia. It is highly probable that these rock paintings were made by people who left their footprints on the tuffs. The circular shape in the center of the picture must have shown the Çakallar volcanic cone spraying lava.
