Qesmh Geopark Managers in Iran came to Salihli to get to know the Kula-Salihli Geopark and exchange ideas within the scope of the Geopark Municipalities Union established by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Salihli Municipality and Kula Municipality.

Expressing his satisfaction with the work done, Amrikazemi said, “We are very pleased with the interest and support shown by local administrators to the Geopark. "I would also like to thank our Mayor of Salihli, Zeki Kayda, for his hospitality," he said.
Mayor Kayda pointed out the importance of the Geopark Municipalities Union in promoting the historical and natural beauties of Salihli, which is included in the World Geopark Network by UNESCO, together with the Kula Geopark, worldwide, and said, "Salihli, which has many cultural heritages such as Sart, Adala Canyon and Bintepeler, is together with the geopark." He will come to very good places. We are the first and only Association of Geopark Municipalities in Turkey. "We will give our best support to develop the Geopark," he said.
Brotherhood protocol was signed
Kula-Salihli Geopark decided to act jointly by signing a brotherhood protocol with Qesmh Geopark in Iran. Kula Mayor Hüseyin Tosun and Salihli Deputy Mayor Mahmut Süreyya Karaoğlu, as well as Soma Sayedyounesi and Ali Rıza Amrikazemi representing Qesmh Geopark, attended the signing ceremony. Mayor Tosun and Vice President Karaoğlu wished the signed protocol to be beneficial.
