Tabala Castle Mesa Structure and Roman Castle

The Tabala mesa structure is a self-standing hill with a lava head separated from the Burgas lava plateau. While the lava cap serves a natural fortress, it is home to the ruins of a late Roman period castle called Tabala. The site is easy to access and has magnificent views alongside the Gediz River.
