The Üfürük Geothermal Area is located between the Mud (Çamur) Bath and Gökköy. Apart from other geotermal resource, In this area carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide gases get out. Winter days vapour of the this gases can be observed. In consequence, this area is called Üfürük Resources, because the gases directly get out (Üfürük means blowing). The temperature of the water rising from these springs is 31 °C. The amount of water depends upon the season.
